Labor Day

It is Labor day in Pittsburgh and it has turned out to be a beautiful day. It is about 80 degrees and I am watching a little tennis on the tube. This is a favorite time of year for me as the US Open is playing and football season is still filled with hope, but all that will change soon (Michigan fans know the feelin).

I have been inspired to begin a blog as I have enjoyed reading so many online. I thought it was the perfect forum to spew my twisted views upon the world.

Starters:
I moved here to Pittsburgh a few months ago at the insistance of my other half. He could not stand living in the south for one more year so I gave in and with him we moved to Pittsburgh. Since moving to the 'burg we have been a bit isolated as we do not know anyone and feel a bit hesitant making friends as people here are a bit different from those we knew back home.

Anyway, work has been up and down here and I am actually just starting to feel more comfortable at my job. Our home is a work in progress and we are starting to make some headway and have the place feel a little more like ours.

So I am keeping my fingers crossed that we have not made a huge mistake by leaving the comforts of home with friends and family to live here in da burg!

Even though I'm a Florida State grad, I still like your blog :)
